The focus of the L.A. historic-cultural monument’s renovation was on preservation, innovation, and an extensive seismic retrofit to adapt and update the structure. This vibrant, mixed-use property houses Arizona State University’s satellite School of Journalism, creative office suites, retail shops, and restaurants.
Phase 1—Lighting Upgrades on 2nd Floor on the East and West Wing. Remove and replace floor boxes, and provide new raceway and boxes.
Phase 2—The project involves renovation of Annex, Storages, Video Gallery, Green room, Restroom, Foyer, Promenade, Lindbrook Terrace & Kitchen/Cafe.
Phase 3—Renovation of existing museum offices with new partitions, new lighting, updated furniture and finished and MEP Improvements
Phase 4—3rd Floor Renovations to existing museum offices and museum store: new spaces to include an art gallery, reading room, art storage, and board room.
